MATERIALS YOU NEED:
- Wood shaving of different types of wood to get the different shades
- Card board/M D F Sheet, covered with black paper or cloth
- White adhesive and paint brush
- White or black paper to paste the wood shaving
- Scissors
- Acrylic colours / postar colours
- Tracing paper
- Clear varnish
- Draw the picture on the black surface of the board and also on the tracing paper.
- Paste the wood shavings of same shade on the paper and keep this paper under some heavy object for some time to dry and make it plain surface.
- Mark the numbers on the different parts of the picture on tracing paper. Numbering should be in the increasing order following the numbers written in the image.
- Cut out the specific parts from tracing paper image, place it on the pasted wood shaving strip, Cut it and Paste it on the black surface at its place on the image.
- Finish the picture by using colours.
- A coat of varnish with brush will protect the picture and enhance the lustre.
